Description
Exploring Human CRP Levels with Precision and Accuracy
Exploring the levels of human C-reactive protein (CRP) and its role in various inflammatory conditions requires precise and accurate detection and quantification. For this purpose, TR-FRET has emerged as a powerful and versatile tool in the field, revolutionizing how researchers study biomolecular interactions and detect key biomarkers. Harnessing the principles of FRET, TR-FRET assays offer exceptional sensitivity and robustness, enabling the detection and quantification of molecular interactions in a single-step, mix-and-read format.
Our NoW-Dtech™ – Human CRP TR-FRET assay kit allows for the quantitative detection of the CRP biomarker in serum, using a fast, wash-free, and cost-effective method. NoW-Dtech™ incorporates Bright-Dtech™ technology, based on lanthanides, providing outstanding specificity and sensitivity for reliable and precise detection.
TR-FRET Assay Principle
The Bright-Dtech™ TR-FRET method employs two antibodies to detect human CRP. The first antibody is conjugated to Bright-Dtech™(the donor), and the second is coupled with fluorescent molecules (the acceptor). When both antibodies bind to their target, the fluorescent intensity from the donor is transferred to the acceptor. This transfer is then detected using a time-resolved fluorescence reader, yielding a specific and quantitative result.
Human CRP assay kit: Protocol
As shown above, the Human CRP Kit requires only a single 1h30 incubation step after the addition of the detection reagents. Read the data sheet in detail before use.
Human CRP assay kit: Validation
Human CRP assay Kit: Required materials
- Vials
- Precision single and multichannel pipettes with disposable tips
- Adhesive sealing film or plates
Choosing the right plate reader allows to get the best possible results. NoW-Dtech™ products are compatible with TR-FRET plate readers.
