Our NoW-Dtech™ – Human CRP TR-FRET assay kit allows for the quantitative detection of the CRP biomarker in serum, using a fast, wash-free, and cost-effective method. NoW-Dtech™ incorporates Bright-Dtech™ technology, based on lanthanides, providing outstanding specificity and sensitivity for reliable and precise detection.

 

TR-FRET Assay Principle

The NoW-Dtech™ Human CRP assay uses two antibodies directed against human CRP. One antibody is coupled to Bright-Dtech™ lanthanide nanoparticles, which act as the fluorescent donor, while the second antibody is coupled to a fluorescent acceptor.

When both antibodies bind to human CRP, the donor and acceptor are brought into close proximity, enabling fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) from the donor to the acceptor. Following excitation, the resulting time-resolved fluorescence signal is measured using a compatible TR-FRET plate reader. The measured signal is proportional to the amount of human CRP present in the sample, enabling quantitative analysis.

Human CRP assay kit: Protocol

The NoW-Dtech™ Human CRP Kit is designed for a simple mix-and-read workflow. After addition of the sample and detection reagents, the assay requires a 1.5 h incubation step, followed by fluorescence measurement. No washing or separation steps are required.
