Description

Bright-Dtech™ Kits – Ready-to-Use Fluorescent Nanoparticles

With Bright-Dtech™, we offer an innovative solution for sensitive fluorescence-based detection using easy-to-use protocols across a wide range of molecular and cellular biology applications. Our fluorescent lanthanide nanoparticles combine high signal intensity, long-lifetime emission, and excellent photostability, supporting sensitive and reliable detection.

Bright-Dtech™-conjugated secondary antibodies can be used to detect primary antibodies bound to their target analytes in applications such as TR-FRET, TR-FLISA, Western blot, immunoassays, immunofluorescence, and cell imaging.

The appropriate secondary antibody is selected according to the host species of the primary antibody. For example, a primary antibody produced in mouse can be detected using a Bright-Dtech™-conjugated anti-mouse antibody produced in another host species.

Thanks to their characteristic lanthanide emission spectra, Bright-Dtech™ 600 – Sm (Orange) can be combined with other Bright-Dtech™ nanoparticles to enable multiplex detection of multiple targets in the same sample, expanding diagnostic capabilities while minimizing spectral overlap.

How to Use Bright-Dtech?

Recommended dilutions may vary depending on the assay format, detection system, and sample type. The following ranges are provided as a general starting guideline:

Immunoassays (e.g., TR-FRET, TR-FLISA, Western blot, dot blot)

  • Dilution range: 1:10 to 1:1000
  • Optimize according to signal intensity, background, and detection system sensitivity

Cell-based assays (e.g., flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, imaging)

  • Dilution range: 1:5 to 1:20 (or higher)
  • Optimization may depend on instrument sensitivity, sample type, staining conditions, and required signal-to-background performance

We strongly recommend performing pilot titration experiments to determine the optimal working dilution under your specific assay conditions.

Live cell imaging without autofluorescence using terbium nanoparticles.
Application of a new type of surface photosensitized terbium NPs (Tb-NPs) for autofluorescence-free intracellular imaging in live HeLa cells. Combination of exceptionally high brightness, high photostability, and long photoluminescence (PL) lifetimes for highly efficient suppression of short-lived autofluorescence, enabling timed PL imaging of intracellular vesicles over 72 h without toxicity and at extremely low concentrations of Tb-NP for up to 12h.
