Poly-Dtech ensures a simple and efficient coupling process. Each kit is designed for the specific conjugation of an analyte, antibody, or other biomolecules. In addition, the nanoparticle surface can be customized to suit your experimental requirements.

➡️ Coupling capacity:

With 200 µL of Link-Dtech™, you can typically couple between 15 and 50 µg of antibody, depending on your desired nanoparticle-to-antibody ratio. The optimal amount depends on how densely you wish to coat the nanoparticle surface, and on the size (molecular weight) of the biomolecule.

For example:

  • For a standard IgG antibody (~150 kDa), this amount allows coupling of approximately 50 to 200 antibody molecules per nanoparticle, depending on how densely you wish to decorate the surface.
  • For a smaller protein, such as streptavidin (~60 kDa), a similar mass (15–50 µg) would correspond to a larger number of protein molecules per nanoparticle, as the molecular weight is lower.
  • For larger biomolecules, such as full-length enzymes (~250–300 kDa), fewer molecules will be coupled per nanoparticle for the same total mass.

These values can be adjusted according to your application (signal amplification, steric hindrance, etc.), and custom optimization is available.
